Starting the control suite program

1. Run "Chairman 5X.exe"
2. Press the "Home" button to start the initialization of the machine. Wait a few minutes until the program is ready.

Inserting tools into the ATC

Insert each tool manually into the #1,2,4,5,6 tool pocket by hand so the diamond-coated end of the tool faces the inside of the tool pocket. Use gentle force to put the tool as far as it goes. An example shown on the right features a calibration tool.

Tool position must be put such as in the picture below:

Filling the water tank

Open the water tank door by pressing it slightly inward and releasing it.

Fill the tank with distilled water (approx. 4 liters). Please refer to the label of the water level.

Add 4 scoops of the chelating agent using the 3 ml spatula into the water.

Close the top cover and push it gently to close the water tank.

Pre-milling checklist:

Before every milling, make sure to check every item on the following checklist:

✓ Water level according to the label attached.

✓ The spindle collet does not hold any tool.

✓ Tools are located in their pockets of Automatic Tool Changer (ATC).

✓ Tools to be used are in good condition.

✓ The size of the mounted milling block is the same as the block used in CAM software to generate NC files.

Opening and executing NC files:

1. Press the "Open" button on the main screen.
2. Find the NC file you want to execute and press "Open".
3. Press the "Start" button to start the milling process.
